FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE NEW BOYS - READING FC
We all know the premier league sides and their players and don't need to much preseason to educate us fantasy premier league managers. However, lets be honest, the Championship is really for those Friday nights when the missus wants to watch Coronation St and anything is looking better on the 14 inch TV in the spare room. That's not my girlfriend by the way, a good night in for her is Stoke v Fulham on the TV. Yes I'm very lucky.

SKY SPORTS FANTASY FOOTBALL - SITE OPEN - SUMMARY AND KEY POINTS
Sky Sports are the first fantasy premier league site to open. That can only be good as it will mean more bargain hunting potential. I haven't done it before but it seems a broadly straightforward. It has the following key fantasy premier league points to using the Barclay fantasy premier league site as the precedent:
EUROPA AND FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE CONGESTION IN GAMEWEEK 1 FOR NEWCASTLE
Sky sports report that Newcastle will have to play as scheduled their 2nd premier league game of the season away to Chelsea, of all places only 2 days after playing the 1st leg of their Europa qualifier on the preceding Thursday night. The Daily Mail have subsequently reported that the tie can be moved if Newcastles opponents agree (although why they would remains a mystery?). The draw isn't made until 10 August.

Below is a copy of the Suns excellent preseason calender. I've highlighted in red the key games (does anyone care who Spurs play against Stevenage ?) although the Calender is in full.
Prior to that I've put which team is playing on that day in chronological order so you can check daily to see what's happening. Where there is an asterix * it means there is premier league opposition playing each other. We will attempt to give a report on the output from each game:
