intro to fantasy premier league football blog

Hi this is my first blog.  Just to recap on what's been said in the public bit on my blog, this is a site to give hints and discuss strategy on the barclays premier league and facebook version of fantasy football. The last 2 years I've finished 5,000ish in the barclays format out of 2.5m and on facebook around 700 out of what i think is 1m.

I intend to post regularly and talk about people I will have at kick off for the new season and then each week discuss players and give picks (buy and sell) for the upcoming gameweek.  They now show prospects of playing and return dates.   I will also do a match preview showing my views on lineups and review for each game during the season. If enough (or anyone for that matter!) people ever follow me I can give my views on any questions so fire away on anything to do with the premier league.

I'm going to start the blog with a review of team of the season for last year, then comment on premier league players in the euro and maybe give some early prospects for next year. I will also do a blog on strategy for my views on how to play FF.  then i will move on to comments about pre season games.

If you're not a serious player, although that seems unlikely for anyone reading this, and if you jut want to do reasonably well in the league you're in at work etc with no effort, you can copy my team as I will show  my team every week and what transfers I do.  Unlike a ot of people I always do my transfers late in the week on a Friday or Saturday morning so you can copy my team if you want without any worries over value differences due to time lags or with having to log in everyday.  Before you say, why do you always transfer late, what about the value implications etc Ill explain all my reasoning when I do my strategy piece later.

I've also got a facebook site and I will have twitter as well.  I just need to sort out how to link them all!

Firstly I'm  going to do my team of last season, starting with the goal keepers in the next blog.  I didn't do the FB version that seriously last year so the team of the season will be from the barclays version.

cheers and have a good jubilee weekend for anyone reading this in England.  Anyone from somewhere else 2 days extra public holiday!!  unbelievable!

If you're wondering about the photos, although I live in Manchester, my parents are Croatian.  I'm also a United fan but  FF has destroyed this as I have no loyalties or bias in picking players.

Cheers
